We install shade nets in bananas orchards that provide 11% shade. These are very light and airy nets, designed to provide protection against weather damages: wind and hail in the winter, and water savings during summer by preventing evaporation. Beyond protection from weather hazards, net houses for bananas provide better growth conditions for bananas. Net houses for bananas are more economical compared to other net houses, as a result of the light type of net and the ability to create large openings between the poles. As a result, it is possible to set up individual structures of up to 100 hectares. The structure of the net house includes the trellis and a support system for growth of the banana seedlings.
